Years of creating art has allowed me to work towards being healthy mentally. I began my artistic career working around themes that LGBTQI individuals explore and later themes developed to embrace all stigma and prejudice.
Where at first I looked at prejudice aimed at me personally, now I challenge other’s judgments, whilst also my own. Each of us is capable of bigotry aimed at other’s, and we often even view ourselves in a prejudicial light.

Using gay flag colors I refer here to a discomfort of ‘gayness’ mainly in times past, though also in some countries today. It is up to all of us to be supportive of difference so that all individuals can live full lives with acceptance and joy. The writing with the cross over the top of it means ‘ between us’.
